Awesome, whatta guy! I think we need to move these posts over to one of the Central Ref. threads, since it concerns that company. I actually only mentioned it because I thought it was a CRE truck that had done this, when I checked the paper I found out different.

Wonder who trains their office personnel? Sounds like they cut every corner they could to get a rig moving. Hope they lose lawsuit and get pounded for some serious bucks.

You're not going to see any money from CR England. When I left I had over $5,000 in my accounts. I had maybe one drive tire that could be replaced and a section of the bumper that I priced at Freightliner at a few hundred bucks. My truck was in great condition otherwise. CR England claims I owe them almost $1,500. That means they absorbed around $6,500.
For what?!
They aren't going to get one more dime out of me.

http://www.crenglandclassaction.com - If you leased a truck from CR England / Horizon Truck Sales and Leasing you may be owed damages for being the victim of unethical and deceptive business practices.
http://www.crenglandlawsuit.com - If you were a CR England student who was paid less than minimum wage you may be owed several thousand dollars in damages. -

Here is what kills me! doesn't anyone research companies before they chose one? or do they just lesson to the recruiter on the phone with them, How many recruiters do you think will tell there company really sucks, but come here anyway? If you want to get a CDL quickly, Go to England get the CDL and then RUUUUNNNNN, and find a company that will give you some experience, When you get those drivers that say they make really good money with England, Tell them to prove it, They can get on-line and see their settlements, I have had these drivers try and tell me they clear $2000. a week, and when I call their bluff, They clam up and wont prove me wrong, If I made their claims, I would prove myself, most companies will give a driver bonuses for recruiting other drivers, So, What do they do, "Hey, You should come to my company, I make this kind of money, straight out of school" Don't fall for the scam, Ask to see their settlement and get the true facts

You CAN make money with CRE. You just have to give up on the idea of having a home, a family, and a life. The lease is ususally set up so you have to keep running the miles week after week after week. They'll let you get a couple of thousand dollars in the hole before they cut off your fuel card. And when they do, they raid every account you have with them. You don't get anything back until they take what you owe.
If they hand you a truck that ends up with problems - you're screwed. They'll defer one payment and that's it.
Even when you succeed, you're kinda screwed. You end up with the option to pay $70K for a truck that already has about 500-700K miles on it, or starting another lease with a new truck - and getting right back on that mouse wheel.
I was in the CRE terminal in Laredo Tx. listening to a couple of 'trainers' boasting about how many miles they get out of their trainees and how little training they actually did. -
CR England isn't even a good opportunity for the homeless looking for free housing as you have to pay for that roof in flease payments. You're much better off going to Swift or even CRST and making $200 a week. At least your "house" is free.
By the way are these dummies still falling for their flease plan? With all the info on the internet about this company you would think people would know better by now. -
Old news. They have been tops in that arena for 20 years...Sorry! Maybe a little research about the industry and companies like them will help some drivers find better places.
