heres the deal. ive decided to just do it on my own and not lease on with anyone. I run a 2013 dodge 3500 4 door. I have 2014 35ft 5ft dove tail 2 12000 axles. im pretty sure what I want to charge but was wanting some input on what others think so I don't cut my own throat and others. main reason why is I gotta make money and so does everybody else and trying to run down the price will only hurt me in the long run. so if you think you can help that would be nice.

    loaded mile 2.95
local run within 60 miles of home town 290.00
fuel surcharge ? not sure if I should.
permits? not sure if you a percentage on for that.
wait time 60 bucks an hour after 2 hours.

Rates will vary from one area to another and whether you are hauling TL or LTL. I would expect that you should be able to find freight in most areas from about $1.75-2.75/mile. I have a friend who hauls cars with a 1 ton dually and he usually averages over $2/mile for ALL miles. He can pull 4 cars with his set up. You will need to find other freight to pull with your set up. Since you are out of Texas, you might find things to haul for some of the oil fields.

that is plan got a couple good deals on hold till the numbers go into effect. already in the car haulin bizness hoping to try something different. and yes im in texas and would like to haul nothing but oil field stuff but I know im gonna have to haul other stuff inbetween. was basing my prices on what ive got while hauling for someone else, of course I only got 70% off that. but we will see what I can get. hope its better than 2.95. just don't wanna go so cheap that it hurts me and others. ill park truck and trailer before I lose money. or have to work for so cheap it barely pays the truck bills.
