Got the answer!!! Cali doesn't want us there , and the other 49 states don't want them on our side of the line! Build exchange stations. Have several turn tables , like at the rail yard. They back 4 or 5 in on their side , we back in from our side , every body drop then turn the turn table. They did not have to come out and we will not have to go in ! Problem solved! Next world peace !

Actually not a bad idea for the table turn. We do have drop yards in Reno Phoenix and Portland I think I am going to propose we think bout catering to these owners that cant meet CALIFORNIA rules.

Look here, http://www.arb.ca.gov/homepage.htm utterly confusing. Basically, ecm engines, pre 2008 are good 'til 2014. Mechanical engines are good 'til 2016.

Really, you should look at guys with 2008 or newer trucks. Not to be an Ahole, but if you're in recruiting you should already know this stuff in and out.

LOL Klee I do look for guys with newer trucks but also large path of guys still have older trucks that need work. I try to help cater to all to keep economy flowing..... but funny thing I called CA board and they told me pending legal action my delay the rules :)

All our road trucks are carb approved , none of our trailers are . Not spending millions on the trailer fleet to make Cali happy. Just blacked them out on the map.

Thats too bad, I was gonna offer you a $3500 load from Long Beach to Phoenix. I guess I'll get a guy with a newer truck. How much are you getting for a 375 mile load today?

If a guy doesn't go to CA that rate is no good no matter what is offered. I'm the same way about all states northeast of VA, WV, & OH. I don't care how high the rate is I refuse to go anywhere up there.
