Snowmobiles can bite you as well. Speed limit on the trails in my state are 45 mph max. Most machines will go twice that and more. Most lakes you can go as fast as you want, but not all lakes in my state. Speeding on a snowmobile is the same as speeding on the road. But It's So Hard To GO SLOW. Because it's so fun. Be Careful out there.

 

like killer60148 said if you got a good lawyer you will be ok. courts really want money anyway. i don't no what you are paying your lawyer you really need to look into a cdl protector i pay 35 dollar month with tvc pro driver cdl protector. they have one in the $40 dollar range also. this is all they do. if i get a ticket i send the ticket, my statement what happen, $25 plus the fine. they find a cdl protector lawyer for you. you do nothing. i had a 75 in a 45 the lawyer got it reduced to if i didn't get another ticket within 30 days they was gonna drop ticket. it was no big issue to me i was gone back on road. majority of time they get ticket thrown out, reduced to like a city ticket (the kind that don't go on license i forgot legal term), you would be surprised what they can negotiate. TVC pro-driver is the best $35 i ever spend they have kept me out some real good jams. that is all you pay no 500 or more lawyer bill its only 1 ticket that went on my license. i forgot town in ohio. but long story short. they don't plead down with truck drivers. and i was on a 6% with 44,000 trooper expected me to hold my truck at 55. yea unless i burn it up. so i got a good one at 68 in 55 the only thing lawyer managed to work with judge was to keep the amount that i was over off my DMV report all it say is **speeding** like that and it don't say i was in my CMV either. When I took my ticket to court to fight (with a lawyer) the prosecuting attorney has a stack of plea deal already set up for everyone that was contesting their tickets. It went smoothy and quickly with about 3 minutes per person. The trooper said I was doing 20 over (I wasnt and I was on a motorcycle too) he knocked it to 5 over. But I fought it anyway because he lied.

 

I had an opps I didnt see the limit reduced from 45 to 35 and got a 15 over ticket. Thats a heck of a lot different from 125 in a 55. your's is just reckless. You should have your license taken away for good. How would you have felt if you lost control and someone else swerved to avoid hitting you, killing themselves. If you want tog o 125, then go to a track. Or at least go to tx and do it on the 85 road that doesn't have turns. Most 55 zones have curves you wont be able to handle at 125. In an 85 it would have been reckless, but in a 55 its just plain stupid. Also the cop most likely wrote on the report your actual speed. You wont be offered a plea bargain.

 

How is that lawyer going to feel when the guy he got off gets drunk and kills someone.

 

A Florida hog crossing the road would hurt at 125!
