Hello, I have a 2005 freightliner Columbia detriot 14.l 60 Sereris , so when ever I use my jake break AkA ( engine break) smoke comes out of the exhaust , not all the time but lot when it does . Does that mean my motor is burning oil , what's the cheap way to fix this problem. Thank you

Does your jake work properly? You may need your jake rebuilt. Not a big deal.

As I said a that is normal, if you have a boost gage you will see it go up as you hit the Jake, boost = fuel, fuel = smoke. But as was also said if you have never had the overhead done it might be a good idea, and adjusting the Jake is part of it.
