Trying to think outside the box have you looked into seeing if you can find someone to take the extra two days that they added on rather than give up the run. Run a second part time driver in your truck or something like that.

I think your individual circumstances will help you make a good decision as well. If you're like me and have a family take care of then you go with the money and sacrifice your happiness for the moment but if you don't have many responsibilities other then yourself I would just focus on happiness for the moment.

I know that feeling. Look for some older drivers that are semi retired. They are probably looking to do a day or two a week which will work out well for you.

Do you have to run it into Canada? I have run log trucks, trailers and pups up north since 94, never had a problem with the roads or traffic. Its just how it is. Also I am from here, so I am used to it. That run seems like cake to me. Hell, that run goes right by my home base. Maybe I could buy it off ya, or send you a commission. :biggrin_2559:

Yes.This run started perfect then they added alot to it..I miss the family,my home,my personal life and my castle.I feel like one of these drivers who ''lives'' in the truck 24/7.

I did not buy a truck to ''live'' in it.This has turned into a ''crack the whipp'' operation and almost 90 hours a week....If i was younger and had nothing, this would be ideal. But i am a bit older and see life different...

I just hate to give up this MONEY MONEY MONEY..:biggrin_25521:
