If it bugs you, don't buy it unless it can be fixed so it looks good again and then tell them to fix it.
If it bugs you now, it will bug you in 6 months.

Looking at buying a 2012 Infinity Fontaine combo. All 8 rims were suppose to be aluminum. The inner ones are steel. Also, there is a bit of damage to a outside rail that wasn't mentioned, just in one spot. The price they want is $28,500 how much would you take off to take it as is? Everything else seems decent about the trailer. Nothing fancy a couple of boxes and sliding winches.

4 steel rims X $115 = $460
4 Allum Rims X$ 350 =$1400
$1400-$460 = $940 Credit
Mount & dismount =$70x4 rims =$280
$940+$280 = $1220 Credit
Damaged Trailer Minimum $600 or more unless he wants to fix it for you @ his price in a certified trailer repair shop
Total Credit $1220+$600 =$1820 + tax

Now thats an answer. They ended up fixing the damage and will be replacing the steel wheels. So its all good. Truck and trailer hit the road tomorrow. Thanks for the responses as usual.
