For what it's worth, with all the pay incentives, I averaged close to .40 cpm during my 18 or so months there. There's a good chance you'll get the dispatcher I had there. He was a huge part of my success and we got along great. There's a pretty good chance you'll get him, living in Maine. He'll work you as hard as you want to work.
Not to mention their tuition reimbursement, which is the best that I've found so far. $2400 every year up to $10 grand.
Best of luck driver.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Got my PM done in the yard then picked up my preplan and headed to KY, del here in the morning and then have a pp going back to Appleton. Got my safety meeting in and listened to them talk about the new trucks. Seems like they just keep ordering more and more. The thought of moving into a new truck makes my back hurt and Mavis and I have bonded. Sucks that my truck can't go into CA after Dec.

Arrived for my delivery last night at Gordon Food Service, notes said overnight parking and to ck in with guard or you would be considered late. My appt not til 10am so I just parked. Parking is outside the gate with room for about 30 trucks. At 6 am guard wakes me up and tells me I have to leave the property because I didn't check in and to say he was nasty about it would be giving him to much credit for being nice.
only me and three other trucks there so space was not the issue. I don't get why some of these people get on such a power trip. If you have rules you should post them. I am about fed up with being treated like crap by receivers. I'll follow your rules but you don't have to be mean and insulting. -
I hear you Bram, no need to be nasty since u can produce bol that shows you're delivering there! That's the place I think u can overnight b4 del. After del you have to leave premises. Signs all over the place inside. They took 4ever to unload and had to creep to the love's not too far away at 3am.

Thanks for all the good info on here everybody! Bram what kind of new trucks are they getting?
-
Yep just got in the dock and saw the signs, once empty you have to leave. That's crap! I ended up parking on the side street so had to start my clock since there was no turnaround. That made me mad. Not the way I wanted to start the day.

New trucks are all Freightliner, a couple of different ones. They have gotten quite a bit of new ones and have seen great results with fuel mileage. Something was said about the double bunk trucks getting better fuel mileage so I think 50 of the new are doubles. When I started last year we were getting 100 new ones, I think the last count on new plus incoming was 224 but not sure. We are only a 350 truck fleet and my understanding is we will never go higher.
i believe they have 3 different models they are testing right now.
i know I know I should have been paying more attention. -
No worries Bram thanks for answering. I know you all are busy. Thanks again. Its kind of cool to see a smaller based company.
