Well tootie04 and Bo, maybe it's just meant to be. The plans for peoples lives are written in the books, sometimes we just don't understand them. That's what i try and tell myself. I know i hear it from the other half all the time.
If it's ok to ask, what was the other company in SD . G
Good luck to you both, just keep safe out there. Winter is coming.

I guess you will never know if you don't try. At least it did not take you guys long to figure it out. Sometimes the old saying does hold up. If it sounds to good to be true you might get screwed or something like that. :biggrin_25523: Well at least you don't have to start a new thread. I am in the same boat right now myself and keep wondering how it will turn out. If my choice does not work out. I might apply for an apprentice position with Bo to get back into heavy haul. I hauled equipment back in the early 90's when I was driving in Germany and than in Memphis after coming to the US.

Wow, I read occasionally, just caught up...Yay you got your puppy back.
Totally sucks, the new job didn't work out... but it gets really really really cold up there in the Dakotas!
Something good will show up, just when you're not expecting it.

Take care and stay warm... winter is coming..... Maybe they need mechanics in Northern Australia or New Zealand... it's warm there....<G>

It was Lyons Specialized in SD.

We are in WY loaded with an OLD 16ft tall transformer going to IN. Have a Jesus and Moses Journey of NE starting tomorrow. I think we will have been on every back road in NE by the time we are done!! Then we have IA and IL and IN to do. We are going to Griffith IN with this OLD thing.

Well we never really left Combined...we caught the lies before the 2 weeks were up so that was a good thing for sure. I really dont know what would have happened if he had left Combined. They would have hired him back but he would have lost his truck and trailer I am sure.

If you look at 19axle.com or something like that you will see them or google the name. Just beware they are liers big time.

We are here in IN...it took over 3 hours to go 5 miles with the bucket truck today!!!:biggrin_2554: But the transformer is here safe and sound.

We are gonna be off to Chandler IN to pick up a demo thing and one stop in TN and deliver it to York SC...GOOD more work for me!!:yes2557:

Just courious was it about money that you didn't go to Lyons? Because if you look there doesn't seem to be any bad reports or claims. But I did notice the pay was about 38.000 a year for a driver. Just wondering
