2 yrs,2 months,2 days, you do not need exp to know drinking and driving do not mix.The ops post speaks for itself.I don't see what you mean by passing judgement. The prisons are full of ppl that made a mistake and we pass judgement on.Certain things you just can't say oh well he made a mistake ,time to move on.

I don't care if i never drove a truck I can judge a drunk driver all I want. I would never drive a personal or commercial vehicle dunk, end of story. What difference does it make how long I've been driving. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.

Um, you shouldn't do that. Even if it were legal to drink in your truck, drinking within 10 hours of driving is not a great idea. Even if your not drunk still, you wont be as alert as if you didnt drink. If you can stay out ont he road for a week and be sober the whole time you need to switch careers.

FYI, Dot can give you a DUI if there is any alcohol in the truck, regardless of if it is in the sleeper or not. It much easier if you leave your keys in he ignition.

All I'm saying is he's admitting he made a mistake and he's apologizing for it. Give the guy a break. Feel probably has more miles backing to docks than most folks have driving down the road. BTW that was me on the side of the road under the trailer and trucks wouldn't move over a lane, much less cars. I'm an owner op so I can't call the shop and sit and wait. Feel The Wheel, get your cdl back and call me, you've got enough experience to drive for me.

Any why cant you call a shop? I mean if you can fix it yourself, that's great, but being an O?O doesn't mean you can't call a shop.
