You may find a O/O that is willing to let you team up with him till things get better . If you were to team up with a Owner operator it would give you a real Big Picture of what a Owner operator goes thru to keep food on table and keep the truck . I was an O/O in the past years with 2 trucks and 1 reefer . I would not even think of it with fuel prices and rates like they are today . The Insurance companies today have they're hands full with Trucking accidents that happen daily .
They don't care about your past record sad to say . They look at today as a new day and a new record .
I know it seems unfair but you can't fight the big Insurance companies on this one .
Some things happen for a reason . In your situation hopefully some good will come forward for you .
Good Luck my friend -
Wow, you are in a tight spot. I really feel bad for you. Anything can happen to anyone at anytime. Looking at your inexperience it is going to be very difficult for you, being that you now have two preventable accidents in two days.
What was the nature of the second accident? Did you by chance rear end someone?
It seems like in order for you to get back into trucking, you are going to have to be in the right place at the right time. Or, know someone.
If you had a few years experience driving tractor you can say you had some bad days; and you can fall back on the years of safe driving you have.
Being inexperienced as you are, they are going to say; you were not properly trained or you are a bad driver.
Maybe the best thing is to just start over, from scratch.
Here's a good test for you, call up SWIFT, CRE, Werner, Covenant;if none of these companies are interested chances are you are out of luck. If you do get interest, I'd take the opportunity. Normally, I would not recommend any of these companies, but hey a little truckin is better then no truckin at all!

You would have a harder time getting O/O insurance.. your lack of experiance and a few accidents nobody is going to touch you far as insurance companies go.. Start looking for companies like Schnieder, cough swift ext.. that are self insured.. that would be your best bet.. And there is Werner I think they hire just about anybody.. Pay will not be that great but deal with it for a year and keep your recored clean you may be able to get something better..
