Been off road for 8 Years anything different ?

    Its good to keep one for pickup/delivery at warehouse/factories else they'll make you check in person once an hour, which some places could be a bit of a walk through bad weather. Must more comfortable to listen to the cb when weather is bad outside. Other than that, yeah turn it off.

    Well had 3 say yes, then changed there minds doesn't help being terminated from my job last week and wasn't trucking. I am happy to find out though that the companies I worked for will send me verification I drove for them as I lost everything in my move . well except the 2 that went under My trucking school wasn't long enough for another only a 40 hr fast track program had experience driving big trucks military and fired department . Keeping my fingers crossed even if I have to drive a year for the not so great company's mentioned here just so I can show recent driving .

    Everything has changed the hos, total moran truck drivers that are extremely dangerous, 759 drivers where killed last year driving. The only freight that can keep ya busy is intermodal. I made way more money in the 90,s than today, all co.s cut back on maintence, pack a good set of tools. The new drivers think 800 gross is good money, don,t expect much. The good news is you can cheat on elog, I grossed 1,430.00 in 5 days running WI. TO CHICAGO RAILYARDS, so it,s possible to make some coin yet. But regular checksgross are 980- 1060 average, not so good. Years ago that would be net and then some. The fun that was , is gone alot of hate, stupidity, etc. Good Luck to ya

    Thanks first I had heard of all the driver fatalities . Was wondering about freight Have seen a big decline in Truck traffic.
