Thanks, but I got what wrong? I'm asking someone to read what I've copy/pasted from Primes website, the last two or three graphs, and tell me if your interpretation is the same as mine. Thanks!

This time prior to obtaining the CDL is UNPAID instruction time.

Sounds to me like those months out are without pay. Is this your interpretation of that statement?

I've read and read. My point is that what I've read on this very informative forum contradicts what is stated on the company website. Thanks for your reply. What you are telling me is that the information found herein is correct, and that which is stated on the company website is not. I find the contradiction puzzling. I'd ask a recruiter, but I have also read here that they aren't to be trusted either! Yikes! Thanks again for your reply.

You just got the time wrong.

Your psd phase or pre-cdl phase is only about a month long. During this time you are not paid as you aren't officially a prime employee. You can take a $200/week loan which gets paid back on increments after hire.

You're trainer phase or tnt is the 3-4 month training. During this time you make $600/week basically working as a team.

"Prime is willing to advance all students $200 per week in the first 30 days (which is removed from future weekly pay checks at $25 increments until the full amount is paid back), during this time a student will have already acquired their CDL Class A permit during the 3 day orientation. Then $600 per week or .12 cent per mile will be paid to the student for the remainder of the training or no more than 6 months, once their Class A CDL has been obtained."

Did you miss this? $600/week minimum.

I wrote this thread based on what I did when I went through the process. I doublechecked numbers and rates and anything that might have changed before posting it. Several people have posted additional input to clarify a few things that I did not go through (CPAP and medical stuff) so I would sum it up as this: I posted a thorough walk through of the program as I experienced it. The company website offers general information about the program and is not in depth and concise.

And time and time again, people have said that the website is OUT OF DATE.
