I do not remember for several option, but what I know, the VIT interior comes already with an upgraded audio system. I think worth to upgrade, since this is our companion and constant noise source. With better quality, you need lower volume to enjoy. I listen it a lot, some music, but mostly talk radios.

I also come with VIT, but there are several options for audio even on that: so called Basic ($90), better ($400), and most advanced with better speakers, subwoofer, etc. (~$700). Unfortunately nobody could explain to me the difference. Also t680 I found on the dealer parking lot was sounding for my taste... horrible (I don't know sound package in it). May be I'm spoiled with BOSE audio system in my car, but non the less t680 sounded too bad. :( I think I need to go back to dealership and listen it again.

I think I have the mid level. But after my old truck's half dead speakers everything sounds good. And as I said, I listen mostly news and talk shows. So good luck with your homework.

Thank you everyone for this 12 page "education" regarding the T680. I've driven a 1999 T-800 for the past 8 years. The local KW dealer has done most of the service, and two weeks ago (for the first time), he said I need to order a new truck. He's never said that before. A few days later, his salesman called me, and speced out a 52" mid roof, a 10 speed auto, with the 455 HP Pacccar engine. It's not a "stripper", as the MSRP is $202,000. His net is a little over $121,000. Of course, that's without the FET, and other local taxes. With everything, it's about a 138K delivered. I still haven't asked if "that's the best you can do" price. If he threw in the extended 500K warranty, I's be very happy, and probably order the truck. He's quoting 5 weeks for delivery. Even though I haven't sit in, seen up close, driven, etc., this new truck, it really does meet the criteria I want. These include, but are not limited to, a well designed cab with great views and convenience to controls ,superior aerodynamics and fuel economy, adequate power, comfortable ergonomics, to name a few. Additionally, from a few horror stories I've read regarding service on these posts, this dealer, usually with very little notice, goes to work on my truck within 5-10 minutes after pulling into his parking lot. Yes, he's small and doesn't stock a lot of new trucks to gawk at, he's on my speed dial, and I always get his attention. I would appreciate any feedback, as I'm a total newbie to this site.

hi, I own a 2013 t680 for one year now, with front axle air ride, isx 485hp 13spd 355 rear ends. fuel mileage about 6.5 u.s. I had water leaking from the roof near the windshield pouring onto my dash, of course kw in Winnipeg couldn't find the leak and has since stopped. I've complained about the coolant leaks (nothing leaking on the ground) and still remains a mystery. Cab parts are 4-6 weeks waiting time. I have the tri-pac and love it. Truck rides nice but is only a 4 yr truck then i'm getting rid of it for new one, as I couldn't afford all the repairs needed with 800,000 kms on it. The truck has 240.000 kms on it now and I deliver kitchen cabinets with it, which requires tight turning as i'm delivering to alot of strip malls, stores etc. requiring back alley deliveries with a 53ft trailer...in essence the truck turns very nicely for the job I need it to do. It weighs 21,500 lbs full of fuel, chains, and tri-pac. Hope this helps u
