this might be a stupid question but do they have OTR LTL jobs?

I have the Double-Triple Endorsement on my CDL and I am looking for work. and I will ONLY go OTR (no reason for anything else)

but seriously, are there OTR LTL jobs?

Terminal-to-terminal line haul. Every LTL company has to move freight between terminal points. Mostly night driving, tho.

From what I understand old Diminion does bag runs which is hopping terminal to terminal all over. Estes does terminal hopping too. They would love ppl that stay out. No sleeper trucks, daycab hotels. Also depends on the terminal next to you might want to call and ask.

Yep, I have known a number of WS drivers and teams and they do true OTR LTL. I have even heard of some runs with 20 plus drops. Mostly furniture I think

"LTL" is a description: LESS THAN LOAD not a 'genera'.

Most people make the mistake of associating LTL with only companies like Fed-Ex, UPS, Estes, Conway, etc... Not true---it applies to ANY company that is willing to pick up and/or deliver multiple stops that are LESS THAN LOAD for each stop.

One example comes to mind: DOT Foods, is an over-the-road company that makes it's lion share of revenue hauling LTL freight. Witte Brothers as well. There are MANY out there.

ok, that's why I don't like the term LTL for that reason, let me rephrase the question

are there any OTR Double/Triple jobs?

that question probably isn't worded any better though

The only reason we use doubles triples is to bring more weight the same distance to other terminals (line haul). These companies that do multiple drops would be pulling a van to those stops
