Thanks, LadyTrucker! But the thing is that's all I need is a chance, but I have applied to over 20 companies, and they all keep sayin the same thing. A recruiter from CRETE was going to hire me, but she said that the manager from AAA COOPER, would not verify that I was a driver in training, and that he told her that I was just a dockworker, but I've driven over 17,000 miles in and out of state, but this guy won't verify that, and he's the one that approved me to go and use a company tractor, and get my license in. I'm not asking for a handout because I've been working since 9th grade after school, I just need a job and what I don't need is another suspension on my license for failure to make my child support payments due to this job loss! I have a current CDL Class A license with Hazmat and doubles and triples endorsements, with no points or accidents, and I have a current medical card, and I had the D.O.T. physical done, with 8 months driving experience, and there's not one company with all the open positions that doesn't need a responsible, hard working driver?!!

It can help to find out what your references are saying. Have someone you know call them as an employer interested in hiring you. That info will help you and you can go from there. It doesn't do any good to tell a potential employer that you did a certain type of work, then when they call to verify it they're told something else.
