You can only do intrastate hauling (correct me if im wrong) when your under 21. Look for a local company that only does work in TX.

you can drive in state at 18 and over the road at 21. try a local grain hauler, coke or pepsi , a school bus, or a local cartage co. lots of luck

in Odessa there is probably more intrastate work then anywhere in the country
try and get on with any of the oil companies doing anything
show them you can work you will be driving before you know it
those companies want strong backs just don't limit yourself to only driving

There was an 18 yr. old on here a few months ago in Texas that found a job hauling farm & ranch supplies within the state. Apply with household moving companies and their agents as Charli Girl suggested. Apply with oil field companies. You will find a job; just have to try harder. Look at Careerbuilder website and the oilfield thread on this TTR forum.
