Lol, i'm only broke cuz I had 3 weeks off in between jobs and I bought a lot of fuel saving stuff that has not been on it long enough to get the ROI yet. Long term it will all help, short term its expensive.

I don't understand why some people freaking hijack the thread. If you don't like bruce or who, go making a thread about it. Only if ppl would learn to stay on topic about the thread instead of bsing about stupid #### it would be so much helpful.

Bruce is the owner of PP, I would think you would want to know what type of person you were dealing with as well as information about the product.

Balance Masters makes the mercury balancing ring. One would be amazed as what they are making for anything from aircraft to motorcycles for balancing products. And of course, the wheel balancers. I contacted them about the crankshaft balancer and they referred me to PP. I think there is a quid pro quo going on there.

I don't think that either balancers or dampers have much of anything to do with fuel economy. This is a different thing altogether. This is all about protecting your engine and preventing major internal failures. Seems some have gotten off too far on the mpg snake oil idea to realize that some things are in a different camp altogether and have little to no bearing on mpg.

Does who one is dealing with really matter? The product is the issue. And, anyone can take information they get from anyone, including PP, and shop around if they choose to. Or, they can just go ahead and buy from PP. No one is getting screwed, because no one is forced to buy from any one vendor, including PP. And one can choose to believe claims about a product, or not. What is really telling, is the level of vitriol that some have against certain individuals just because they may not agree with what they state. That rings of insecurity issues. I suggest therapy.

I actually shoped around and purchased the Vibratech dampener and balancer through Iowa 80. I was gona purchase it thru Vibratech and because I also wanted the balancer they refereed me to PP. Which I then was gona purchase it thru PP but couple other parts I need thru IOWA 80 and had coupon for free shipping, ended getting all thru Iowa 80, yet the dampner and balancer came directly from PP.
So I don't think it matters which vendor you use.

I also do not think the dampner even with the balancer will improve MPG.
I purchased them to better balance my cat engine internally. I have read that the dampners can wear out. I only have 1.7 million on this engine.
