Training in illinois under 21.

Some schools let you attend at age 18. Some local companies such as household moving companies will hire at 18, but you must drive intrastate (within the state). Corrigan might be one of the moving companies. Call schools and ask.

 

I was also finding the best training school for that kind of job here in our place so that I can work in a heavy hauling company.

 

Watkins & Shepard and Rinaudo Enterprise have heavy haul and hire new CDL grads. That's the only 2 I know of that hire new drivers.

System Transport hires new CDL grads for flatbed & you can work your way up to heavy haul and wind energy.

Check the websites. You do have to complete CDL school before they hire you.

 

If you are looking to go to a private driving school you should be able to get into any you want. Are you in the Chicago area? If you are looking for company training most want you to be 23. If you don't know it is going to be difficult for you to get a job at 21 even if you get your cdl on your own. The law says you have to be 21 but most companies say you have to be 23. It can be done, but will be harder.

Yes you can be under 21 and get your CDL but you can't use your CDL out of your home state. There are many companies that will hire you at 21; make sure that you don't get your CDL and sit, get out and start working right away even if it isn't your first choice company, sitting longer than thirty days can put you at the risk of a refresher course.
