Exactly.
It seems all that high falutin' very elite college education never taught her that juuuust maybe, a proper disposal method might be down a toilet, followed by a rinse of the container.

I'm just glad I'm not married to anyone like her.

These lazy slobs that piss in parking lots and throw their piss bottles out the window should just have catheters installed with the storage tank underneath the truck.

 

I have yet to see one driver carry a "jug" into a TS and empty it. But I have only been out 2.5 years. Disposing in the garbage is a strong second and a thousand times better than tossing them out the window.

The author produced a very well written commentary and is volunteering, through her church, to clean up trash in OUR world. I am the first to look at the negative side of things. But I am on her side in this issue.

It is a shame the opinion of truckers is based on the worst few of our group. How many of you have run over a minivan with a family of seven inside? Maybe IOODA should spend some of their cash on infomercials showing the public how may thousands of drivers are accident free, for years and years, compared to the few that show up in the horrific news stories. Though I don't know how that could be worded...

You make some good points , but I disagree with you on her premise. She is stating that she is an elitist....and she was embarrassed by her Dad being a trucker. That's where it went south with me....I've seen kids embarrassed by their parent's , but I'll never excuse that sort of commentary by a child whose parent was doing the job he was trained to do to help support her. I've raised 2 sons, along with my wife , kept them in church , lived my life in a way that I hope was an inspiration to both of them , so has their Mother. They are both college graduates , the youngest from Ga. Tech , the oldest from WinGate Uni. and Brody School of Medicine. And one thing I can tell you in all honesty...if one of their peers had laughed at my occupation..then they would have received a quick punch in the nose ...from either one of them.
