The biggest headache for me, literally, was one I caused myself many times. After getting out of a big truck, trying to get into my pickup the same way I'd get into the big truck. DOGGONE that hurts!
-
That just reminded me, even if you are young and agile, still be careful getting in and out of the truck in the winter!
I was up in Illinois in 06 had mixed rain and snow the whole way across 80, I got into IOWA 80, parked my truck and went to hop out of it not realizing the step was solid ice I slipped and fell and busted my Alpha Sierra Sierra, nothing got hurt too bad other than my pride, but I did completely shatter my cell phone.okiedokie Thanks this. -
i've been known to double clutch my lil hyundai after getting out of a truck. glad no one can see what my feet are doing in the car ... lol
-
lol!......I have been known to float gears in my 5 speed pickup....
-
Not as bad as trying to get out of your pick-up like you get out of your big truck......*wink...wink*.....All joking aside great points being made on this one....I've always tried to never assume anything...like Mr. Reagen said...."Trust ..but Verify"......

I got a 13 speed trans so i try to start my 5 speed golf in 3rd lol...and yes I miss my jake. And I reach for the cb when i hit traffic...and its not in my car lol
-
You tried working the splitter on that 5 speed yet and get bewildered as to why it isn't there?
Or even better yet put it into reverse at highway speed looking for 6th gear? lol -
How about reaching down on the left to start your personal vehicle :/ If your at one of them facilities that makes you lower your dollys to be loaded/unloaded, drop your bags if you have a dump valve before you lower the legs. When done flip the switch and wait for them to air back up. The buzzer can be nerve racking but it sure saves wear and tear on the back and shoulders.
