Well had my phone interview and set to go to orientation on 29th if I pass my road test. Really looking forward to it and praying and studying like crazy. So far I have nothing but nice things to say about recruiters very helpful and did not sugar coat it. Once again thanks for sharing and I look forward to meeting you all one day...

Bram, do you get paid whenever shippers/receivers detain you? If so, when does the pay start?

 

Each shipper and receiver has different detention rates. Usually starts after the 2nd hour. It sometimes takes a while to hit your paycheck. I usually just put in for it and forget about. When it shows up, its extra. Every little bit helps.

 

Anyone del to northwoods paper in beaver dam, wi. Says overnight parking but also says don't arrive more than 15min early?

 

I looked it up on google maps and that place is small. Doesn't look big enough to have overnight parking. If its the same one im looking at off corporate dr.

I've never delivered always picked up, there is limited space. I believe you can park on the street and there is also a Wal-Mart at that exit. I don't know as far as deliveries go but definitely don't show up too earlier for a pick up.

 

I passed my road test today and I am super excited to get started. Orientation starts the 5th for me. I will post lots of updates to continue the awesomeness of those before me...
