MESILLA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION (Go to work for this company and you will be targeted by the DOT and other law enforcement agencies!!)[/h] A couple of days ago I went for an interview at Mesilla Valley Transportation for a driver recruiter position. This interview was the most confrontational interview I have ever had in my life! I have never dealt with a company that when you are interviewing for a position with their company, that the terminal manager presents himself and the company in this type of appearance.

I researched the companies background including litigation, drivers and former drivers opinions and of course, the companies SAFE STAT score with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration website prior to going to the interview. I found one federal lawsuit that involved this company here in the state of TN involving failure to pay unemployment (of which they were found guilty of), I also found N U M E R O U S driver complaints posted on Truckersreport.com http://(http://www.thetruckersreport...ortation.html), and a safe stat score of 97.7% out of 100% for this company!

During the interview, I inquired that as a recruiter, how was I supposed to recruit quality drivers with a safestat score of 97.7%?!?!?!?! The terminal manager's answer was, "That score is the result of New Mexico's law enforcement agency "targeting" and "harassing" them due to the fact that they are based in New Mexico!" What a laugh! Any professional drivers out there need to look at the links that are included in this post before they make the decision to entertain an employment offer by this company!! http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS/Default.aspx
