If you're delivering around ohare in Chicago, and you miss your turn...you're going to have a bad time, and an awful case of road rage

Just been chilling at the ohare oasis, my gf came to see me, and I haven't gotten a load assignment all day even though I got some hours to run, missed a message from dispatch on my Qualcomm, but they wanted to know if I had my passport to go to Canada, so I'm assuming in taking a 36 hour break then running over the border

    Back in Olney paradise.

How is it there are 27xxx & 28xxx trailers with not a mark on them surviving through years of use and every 12xxxx-14xxxx trailer I get looks like a crash test drone?

Is the average level of prime driver quality going down or are the yard dogs angry to see nice shiney trailers?

BTW, new APX reefers on the 143xxx tlrs are the good stuff, love the big display with multi buttons so don't have to scroll through as much and are so responsive. Hopefully durable too

Aw sweet, can't wait to get my hands on one of those bad boys, and those 27xxx and 28xxx may have come from the rebuild shop? That's my best guess, I don't usually pull them though, I always try to find a 29xxx to 11xxx freaking hate going into a place with a short dock plate and the 12xx to 14xx squat away when you pull out the valves

Geez! Upset about how many times ya gotta push buttons??? Lemme tell ya 'bout ThermoKing, 'n lead-sled 18xxx Great Danes. When the first of the "new" 24xxx's came along, that was better 'n sliced bread! Especially the air-slides... nuttin' like trying to get those ol' manual handle deals to move with the slides and tandems all rusty! They're all gone now... 18's, 22's, 24's, 25's - you see 'em being pulled around by other folks. The reason you only see relatively ungoobered 27's and 28's are that the beat-up ones have either been sold or scrapped. I personally would have liked to put the torch to 18032 myself!!!

...seems like the inexperienced drivers are rather hard on trailers. At least until they get in the habit of remembering there's a whole bunch 'o truck back there!

I'm really liking the boat tails. My wallet is thanking me!

Ashland VA until this afternoon. No sense rushin' down to Henderson NC until I have to.
