Hey-What happened exactly?Did they want you to pick up and deliver THEIR freight in a timely and safe manner?Just not understand excessive unnecessary delays? Not believe the last twenty five jobs it was the company's fault you weren't there any more.I could probably go on.Fill in the blanks. You are only making sense to yourself.Take care.Brian

I've been with them as an L/P driver since May and I don't have any huge complaints about the Sammons. Just these brokers that are smoking crack with frieght rates these past few weeks.

Sounds like a good company, put in a app today, got a call and here they want you to stay out 4-6, unlike what the guy on their site's video says stating "I can go where I want and come home when I want"?? and make sure your experience is OTR in all 48 states, regional won't work because you evidently don't have experience in driving in different weather conditions and different elevations. And yes, this was the 2 excuses I got today from a rep that called me. I guess Pa doesn't get snow, sleet, ice or have mountains .... LOL
joseph1135 Thanks this. -
I drove the Midwest to NE corridor for years. It is a walk in the park compared to the area west of Denver.
PA has mountains? Paallease those bumps in the road you call mountains?
rockyroad74 Thanks this. -
Well I can say the Rockies are taller, Drove them a few times when I lived in Phoenix and when I drove Trailways bus, but we have some pretty good steep hills here over 5 miles uphill and steep (2 of them are on I-76 alone). Evidently you didn't drive them when you was here. But what about the Southeast Routes they have? They have none at all ... LOL .... just saying it's a lame excuse, but oh well, no biggy
joseph1135 Thanks this. -
Oh the east has mountains. And we have some serious grades. I-80, 76, us 22, 30, lol. Those will take you western boys for a ride. Lets not forget about I-79 and I-68, 77 and 64. The West Virginia turnpike has some fun areas too. And the "little roads"? Ha ha ha ha. 12-13% grades on those. And lets not forget about Monteagle in Tenessee. You're not careful, Monteagle will catch you off guard.

Been on this site for years both old and new versions (rarely post). Have never seen Sammons in the negative column, guess they turned him down.

Been with Sammons since July, no real complaints, and I do run where I want when I want and come home when I want, usually out three to four weeks then home 4 to 5 days.
