Depends on account. Some accounts require lots of labor, some don't which will also look for drivers compared to drop n hook accounts. I bet if your account hangs in they'll upgrade those trucks.

Don't know if it was intermodel, but it is definitely beat up. All the trucks for this account got towed in from Harrisburg. One guy got a newer Cascadia(by accident) but he is also the senior guy on the account, been with SNI 18 years.

Mine was in the shop Monday, Tues and Wednesday, plus the things I had fixed on it when I picked it up. Hopefully it is all good now.

I don't think the account is going anywhere. They have had this same account in Dekalb for a while. I hope we get new trucks, this one I have is a POS LOL

Talking about some dedicated accounts needing drivers, anyone else get that message about needing drivers to help out on the dollar general account in Boston Mass?? There is not enough money in the world for me to go there and help. Can you imagine the driving and parking nightmare there?

Luckily I never had EGR problems with my Cascadia.

Radiator problems yes, 2 radiators in 150k.

Well its been a couple weeks and they are still trying to push me into a regional account, I have called and spoken with a couple dedicated recruiters who says I do qualify for the dedicated account but that they have to contact my recruiter (regional recruiter) who initially did my phone interview. When I speak to my recruiter, I am always told the account is full and that I should go to orientation and maybe someone will quit and I could take the account. I know a couple people from school who said they landed a dedicated account so its not impossible, so my guess the recruiter I have been dealing with is keeping my from going dedicated.

No I originally applied for regional, at the time I applied I did not know students could apply for a dedicated account. I spoke with another recruiter and supposedly I have been accepted for a dedicated account.

In bulk dedicated jobs are given to a few guys that have earned them for the most part. You get asked basically. No rookie is going to get one right out of school.
