I'm guilty of backing into a dock door I got out and looked kinda forgot to set parking break. What a sight of me chasing my entire unit down a hill an the other driver trying to get out the way i didn't hit nothing but embarrassing never did that again.

^ A few years back there was an incident with a local beer delivery straight truck driver in Seattle. He said his brakes failed... but I think we can consider that he forgot to set his brakes. The tavern he was delivering to was at the top of a steep hill. The truck managed to go straight down a narrow street for three blocks, with cars parked on both sides, coming to a "T" intersection...
...across the street was a mini park on the shore of Lake Union (Sleepless in Seattle) next to all the house boats, a couple had parked their Cadillac in front of the park and were at the picnic table below next to the waters edge...
... the beer truck hit the Cadillac with enough force to stop the truck dead in it's tracks, but launched the Cadillac over the picnic table and a good 30' feet out into the lake.
The local houseboat community held a vigil service at the park later that night in memory of all the beer that was lost.BossOutlaw88 and HotH2o Thank this. -
