Nope not yet but at least I'm heading that way. I have to be there by tomorrow no bs no excuses. It's going to be tight. First time I've been east of the river in 8 days.

i had 2 in 2 days. first the one that blew on the way from Houston to Camden, and then I get one from queen city, tx to Montoursville for Thursday. hmmmm.......seems like I remember being noted for a week now that I have to be back in Greensboro on Thursday......anyway......

jack has the board. all I can think is oh ####.....i'm going to have another tire issue.....4 times he's been on the board, 4 blown or flat tires. I should buy a lottery ticket whenever he has the board. so I get to IP in queen city, drop the empty, and soon as I round the corner and see the loaded trailer I see it. left rear inner flat and hanging half off the wheel agains the frame. you have got to be kidding me. ####### guy is 5 for 5 with tire problems every time he has the board. of course it's out in the middle of nowhere texas so 6 hours later I've finally got a good tire on and ready to go but now my time has cut short. explain the situation to jack about Thursday and we work out a drop in Morristown.

get to Morristown today and get my preplan and then don't get the load assignment. after about an hour I walk inside and just ask the guy inside about the load. oh it doesn't pick up until tomorrow morning and the driver is still down in Mississippi.....so I sit another 24 waiting on a load. almost all I've done all week. I asked the guy in Morristown what was going on with the company and why things were going so haywire. he gave me some bs answer about 'freight being strange'.....the guy that was waiting for me to get to Morristown with that IP load had been waiting for me to get there for 2 hours and soon as I got there and he was ready to go they cancelled it on him. he wasn't a very happy camper either. said that they'd been running him longer and longer and getting him home less and less too. I may post something else about that subject later but right now just trying to decide if it's not better if I just don't say anything at all anymore. clearly something is going to have to change and things get back on track.

Epes is turning into a 3 week out company seems like . I don't think we have enuff drivers to cover the freight . I see a lot of drivers quiting and very upset every day . Stuff is getting strange no doubt what's up with a safety meeting in November ? I question that

That cat in morristown likes to piss off drivers man , say as little to him as possible , my experience with him over the years , the less you say to him the better off you are . Thank god for the cats in Chester seems like they care more about getting you home and running you as many miles as possible .

Just for what it's worth. Pretty much all the trucks coming outa the tse shop in rockwall are having the tse logo removed and replaced with Epes logo/stickers. Company trucks, o/o, and lease ops.

Also for what its worth seriously thinking @ going lease op.

good luck on making the jump to owener op it's a different world. It's got its ups and downs some days you want to drive the truck in a lake and some days are very nice . I like having control of getting my truck fixed and also what brand tires or parts to go on my truck . If you got any questions throw me a line . If you got a lot of bills I recommend getting them payed off because one hick up can get ya in hole when the truck goes down or when some one backs into your truck

I have been with Epes almost two years and I don't see anything different from the time I have started. In fact this is going to be a good year for me. There is nothing strange about a safety meeting in November. I'm sure there will be many more.
