Every one knows about "stevens transport" it's owned by a Deleted. Their policies are terrible, their equipment is top notch, and as we all know the drivers pay the price. Expierenced drivers will not work for them mostly because their equipment is governed and they will charge you ungodly for out of route miles. This company is at the bottom of every drivers list. As a matter of fact they will make money on you, period. My best advise is to stay away from this company because they are bad news for anybody.

If at first you don't succeed, failure may be your style. It could be that the entire purpose of your existence is to serve as a warning for others. That said, truckers are going to ##### about whatever anyone will listen to, and the validity of their arguments is not generally based on what rational humans like to refer to as "reality". It is much easier to blame a company than it is to accept responsibility for your own failures. Remember, the only consistent feature in every one of your failed relationships is you.

Here we go again, another driver that more than likely got sent home because he couldnt pass the pee test so now he has to have his 6 year old son to make an account for him on TTR so he can bash Stevens.

What gets me is when the clowns do this, it's so obvious that its a disgruntled driver.

Stevens is no different from any other mega carrier other than the equipment is top notch (as you stated) and they dont put up with crap when dealing with the safety and compliance departments. All of the mega carriers screw the drivers any way that they can. You just need to figure out which one will screw you the least

As far as an experienced driver not going to Stevens because the trucks are governed, I cant think of any large carrier that has ungoverned trucks. Most the I have seen are governed between 60-65mph, some more and some less.

Im sure that I could make more, but I will choose not to.

Its just that you like to pop in here from time to time throwing your two cents around when you have never worked at Stevens. People who dont know of you now see your posts and that is just more crap that gets spread about Stevens.

And Ive noticed that you do that with a lot of other posts on TTR in other areas.

As far as answering your question, I honestly dont remember how much Stevens charges for out of route miles.

I apologize. I should had never made that post. Im not trying to start anything.

Its just that you honestly do come across as a know it all at times. And like I said, you must have alot of time on your hands because I see you all over the TTR replying. You have been on TTR a short time and already have 5500 posts.

Nothing wrong with that as long as your advice is accurate and have worked for the company that you are giving advice and answers about and have first hand experience and not just hearsay.

Yes, I only have about 3 years driving experience but I have worked at truck dealerships and parts suppliers for years and my dad also worked around trucks all of his life. I also did a ton of research on different trucking companies and the industry in general before I decided to start driving. so I do think that I have some knowledge of trucks and the trucking industry.

Apology accepted.I do have a lot of times on my hands.I'm a local dedicated driver.I do 2 rounds a day.Start 5 or 6 am and done by 2 pm.Make decent money.Plz before coming up with assumptions about me,get to know me first.I don't come up with assumptions about anyone on the forum and can't see my posts to other members as offensive.I try to get along with everyone here at the forum and would like ppl to give me the same respect.Yes I do go to company threads that I know nothing about the company and will never act I do know anything about the company. But like I said I do know aliitle bit about thew policies of companies and the industry as a whole so yes I will give it my know it all opinions and advice about that but never about a guestion that a member has about a certain company like what kind of trks they have apus ect ect.I leave that expertize for the ones currectly driving for that company.
