143210 is the best trailer ever.
-
Aren't they though?
I need to git to Springfield, 'n clean out the third-string stand-in FMs. I got a stand-in yesterday that thought a preplan was a load sheet with no appointments, and BTW since sales hasn't bothered to lock in the rate, we just won't talk about money. Is that OK?? Can I lock you into that one???
You gotta be kiddin' me, right? He wasn't!
Got a better one this morning from my FM... might be able to salvage the week if I get something that runs overnight next Monday.silenteagle Thanks this. -
In Gary in, heading towards menominee Wi. BTW Kroger in Delaware OH isn't a Drop its a live unload DM said it was a D/H... Yeah right.
-
Had I read this yesterday i would have said something. I just left there this morning. I won't accept anything from a second stringer if it doesn't have a rate, and sometimes if the rate seems wrong.....
I29 headed up to the 80 and SLC. -
Dang, that TLR must have done you a doozy for the hatred required to remember the exact number!
Hah, it just pushes the pleasure buttons on my Germanic sense of efficiency not to have to waste time scrolling through menus.
For sure are far superior most Walmart trailers...just pulled a Pines brand dry box circa 1995 last week.
The thermo king reefer interface is soooo sloooowww especially when you have to change multiple zones.
I do lust after the new Great Dane everest reefer TLRs wally is getting, look so beefy with those huge rear frames, sexy grotes micronova lighting, and plain white paneling - no logos.
Wish prime went with roll up doors on our TLRs for sure.
In Paducah KY, just finished unloading at Walmart.
Just next to wally world in front of Lowes is a BBQ joint called "backwoods BBQ" - soooo good got pulled pork platter with baked beans, hash casarole, & homemade chocolate pie. They have beer as well if you have time to wait it off before driving.
Its right off i24 xt4 on the south side of interstate. -
where is a Prime driver going to wait it off? A hotel?
While i applaude the idea of waiting or sleeping off the booze before driving to avoid a DUI, there are still a whole another set of potential problems for the driver.
I'll reference one of the latest safety messages from either the Aug '13 or Sept '13 safety CD recording.
While only a detectable amount (smell of breath) is needed for any officer to put a driver out of service (OOS) for 10 hours, company policy is no alcohol within 24 hours before setting foot inside your truck.
there is enough tattletales running around pointing management at drivers with no locks on a EMPTY trailer, drivers taking a break parked on a on ramp, or the public image presented of someone using an adult bookstore parking lot to take a break, they'll surely rat a driver having one beer.
BTW my buddy got a call for each one of those complaints. He was told Adult bookstores should be the last resort to park for a brea, and even then, not a good idea. -
At denver yard...been stuck driving nights for a week and feel weird... just the way the loads have worked out...

Sitting in the world's largest parking lot in iowa, not that I supposed to be here, but I had to swing in for a visit. 200 more miles to the 90 in champaign, il. for tomorrow nite.
