There is no inspection bays (thank God!)... So they won't know unless they are reading here, or you tell them :)

There is a cummins guy that is at crsco every day, he may be able to help you. If you're running a 386 and it's burning oil, there's your problem. Mine was doing the same thing and the top end of the motor was crap and had to be rebuilt. This is a very common issue with the 2010-2012 vintage cummins engines and a bunch of them have had to be redone. Your cel is probably the little small one at the bottom just to the right of the steering colum. If it is it's just a MIL light just showing that the def or Dpf system has suffered a malfunction. A forced regen will turn it off for a few days but it will come back on until the underlying issue is fixed right.

Mine is right above the steering wheel. Then when I go into the faults menu on the screen. It says. Engine. Click that. It says see owners manual. I'm not noticing the oil level dropping at all. But i keep having to add coolant. After just one week of driving I had to add a gallon and a half. Not noticing any discoloration in the oil. So not sure where the coolants going. Also at times. When i park after driving for a couple hours. The rpms will be at 800 and ill get the hot exhaust message pop up. The last check engine light. The dealer replaced a sensor in the dpf system. I just don't wanna be down for a few days and be stuck in Conley. Sleeping in their bunks. If it's anything like wvc. I'd rather have it get sent to the dealer in Rochelle. Then they'll at least get me a room since they don't have bunks

    Burning/loosing coolant... EGR?? Hose leak??

We had fun with the coolant in the fuel, and fuel in the coolant last year... (Horror story!!) it was injector cups.

Any way that I can see if this is happening? I don't see any visible leaks. No residue anywhere. Nothing on the ground.

Also. Talked to my dm. He said he can control where I go. So I told him since I'm out here. Work me up the coast to the NE states. RI, DE, NH. Etc. so I might have just put in a death wish for going to NYC. But I want to go to the states I haven't been to yet. And they're all up in the NE part of the country. So since it doesn't seem like I'm going to be able to get to Rochelle any time soon. I'm thinking I might wanna have Conley look at my truck. Better there than have it break down in the middle of nowhere. Bad part is I'll be in the middle of a load when I'm at Conley.

I wonder if my old lease truck is still around? 15657, black on top, red on bottom prostar. Just realized when I quit, I left my 3,000 watt inverter, and all cables in it. Im sure the mechanics took the inverter.

BigDog, call the shop at SLC. They'll look up the number and if nothing else tell you if the truck is still in service.

4noreason posted about the blood pressure:
I didn't catch your age, but a driving job where you are expected to help load and unload might make you much happier than pulling a refridgerated trailer. That way you can still get a workout in.

I'm thinking distribution, where you help unload. Or pulling a flatbed where you have to throw tarps.

Just saying that that the sedentary life of driving trucks will be a big change for your body.

Has anyone else been getting messages telling them to mac11 loads from someone names jamesb? I've gotten a few lately. I won't Mac11 a load I can't make until my dm confirms he wants me to do it, so sometimes they sit for a few hours, or even until the next day. Today was a new record though. I got a pset at 1345 and a message to mac11 at 1353. Considering I was on line 3 for that whole time I would think it would be ok that I didn't mac11 the load yet. When did we start needing babysitters?

He's not my dm; I know my dm hasn't changed. Whoever he is he's getting on my nerves.
