Agreed. I'm sure that the pieces of his truck would have generated enough cash at the scrap yard to reimburse you for what you were owed. If he's not paying you, then he's probably not paying the IRS either. FWIW, the IRS rewards informants with a percentage of what they collect.

No I haven't been drinking too many suds, lol.I just figure if this did become a legal matter it would be a couple yrs before this comes to surfaceSure money is money and they should have got paid but sueing an O/O,how much do you think they and lawyers would have received?I'm friends with a trucking lawyer and doubt he would take this case. They go after companies especially the megeas.
KW Cajun Thanks this. -
Thought about a lein like that. Truck as far as i know is broken down and is possibly already in pieces from driver after us. Believe truck died. Owed about $5000 teamdriver and mine combined. Also lawyers i have talked to will do.it as a pay as you go dealio... unfortunately empty pockets. This guy got us pretty good. No one will do the case on contingency.

I just wonder how many other drivers he will do this to? And the company he's leased to doesn't want to hear about it or take notice of it.
-
How will anyone know if you don't expose who he is or who he is leased to?
-
You have to be very careful about it if you are planning to pursue legal action.darkangelsdiary Thanks this.
