Which is best on the road. XM or Sirius does one get better reception than the other. Which has better programming and how much does it cost a month. Im guessing that you lose reception with bad weather. Which do you have and what do you like/dislike about it. Do you wish you got something different. I am also wanting to get a GPS unit. Same thing what do you have and what do you like/dislike about it.

    Thanks for the Info

I have Sirius and I love it and wouldn't have anything but Sirius. I chose them mostly because of their NFL coverage, but I've kept them because of all their other programming and the commercial free music.

You don't lose signal in any weather but you will lose signal anytime the antenna doesn't have an unobstructed view of the sky.

I don't have a GPS and probably won't get one anytime soon. Trip planning and routing is something that should remain low tech, IMHO.

I have sirius and like the programming on sirius better. The only thing that XM has on sirius in my opinion is havin major league baseball. I like listening to ball game rolling down the road

Sirius all the way, never lost reception on the road, and its about 13 bucks a month but you have to pay for 3, 6 months, or 1 or 2 years of service. As for gps if you have a laptop get microsoft streets and trips with gps unit about a 100 bucks. Best thing I ever had saved me lots of hassles, just remember its just a refrence and dont abide by it because roads change and trucks arent allowed on all roads.

man, i GOTTA HAVE XM for the baseball coverage.....EVERY SINGLE MLB GAME is broadcast LIVE on XM. I'm not a trucker YET, but when I am.....having LIVE baseball for most of the day will keep me wide awake while helping the time fly by!!! And if you haven't heard a MLB broad cast of a MILW. Brewers game..you dont know what you're missing!!

Bob Eucker will have you laughing so hard, it'll bring tears to your eyes. He brings a type of entertainment to radio that you won't believe!!
