Started driving school at Northwest Mississippi Community College today!

    More backing and more backing and more backing! Oh and more backing! I am getting really good at it. Also pre trip, pre trip, pre trip, moved the trailer tandems back and forth, couple and uncouple trailers. Averitt Express person came by today, they seem like a good company anybody got anything to say bout them?

    Nice to see your getting the backing down since that's that hardest part about the trucking. I have a lot of trouble with the backing, the school I went to prier was a joke and looked at me like I was an idiot when I messed up the backing.. I quit that school and joined another who's a lot better, but I only took a 20 hour refresher course cause that's all I could afford but I had to switch to class B cause with limited amount of time I had. A lot more easy backing a straight truck then a semi and I'm testing in 2 weeks. But I will get that class A someday..

    I have been backing boat, landscape, utility trails for 30 years and the semi is somewhat of a challenge I just about got the offset backing down cold!

    Yo state don't have a program to help with getting a cdl check with unemployment office and there are schools that u can get cdl in 16days my state have 2 programs go and ask

    In Mississippi the job win center unemployment office will pay $1000 for toward the cdl program! I did not know this but a couple guys in my class used this to pay for it! a big option if you want to get your cdl!

    Also pre trip, pre trip, pre trip, and air brake check, air brake check, you know the drill!

    Pick a good company and make good money. Stay away from the mega-refrigerated starter companies. Smart move on your part attending a private CDL school; now you can start your career with good paychecks and benefits.
