I also have a similar question as cfr0402. What is the pay differential per hour? Is it higher enough than it will offset for Texas's lack of income tax, subzero temperature (Do you work in coldest months in North Dakota), and also higher housing costs in North Dakota.
I'm specifically interested in wireline, coiled tubing, etc and would like to know what the wages are in those fields for places such as, North Dakota, Texas, Pennsylvania (If anyone is working in the Marcellus Shale).
Thank you.

I agree with the above asked questions. If we have experience and are not convicts and or multiple duiis should there not be a reasonable and somewhat cognitive reply

In laymens terms if we are honest and willing to work and are not wanted in 7 western states would this not benefit your company?just wondering

Frack is pretty easy in texas not like other states clock n 200+hrs per payroll u can expect atl e's ast 2-2500 a week if ur pay is at the bottom average no exp n south texas is around 15-18....just dnt do chemicals is the dirtiest but rig up dwn pretty simple when ur team wrks together

gbz,
I'm interested in Wireline/Coil Tubing/Cementing/logging/Fracturing, which one of these, will a person be least exposed to chemicals? Also do you know the hourly wages (low end to high end), and hours a week a person is expected to work -
What's wrong with chemicals?? They are all over oilsites. And if you are around them you are given protective gear to wear. Some are very mild. Others can be quite nasty. If you can't deal w/them you are in the wrong place.
