Just got my H&Y & Copper Electronics fall 2013 CB Radio Catalogs!

IDK but I don't beleive any of the 257's had roger beeps in them. I know the first gen 2950's did. I used to have one.

Funny, I have used my 257 on 10 meters before and with good reports. I think I even told them what it was and they were fine with it. But I have heard some hams who claim they know an export radio on 10 meters when they hear it. "Drifting" was one way they claimed to be able to tell, but not all exports drift on SSB.

Cobra 200 GTL....now I'm surprised to see that even made the list. Everything I've read on those rigs claims they're the laughing stock of SSB exports. The HR2510's are hoarded like the family jewels and when one does come up for sale, they want an arm and leg and a first born for it. Did Ranger actually make a 2950N2...? I know they made a 2970N2.....I actually want one....I'd even straight up trade my Galaxy DX 98 VHP for one.

 

I'm also going to upgrade to a ranger rci 2970 n2 currently Using a 2950 dx 'would be nice to cut out the need of an amp as I would have plenty of power in the 2970 so far I've seen them advertised $429.00 with out the tune up and conversion .

 

Can anyone guide me to a good place to buy aero clad bumper for a Volvo vnl ?

 

I have been running a President HR2510 for a couple of decades and it has both 10 and 11 meter. Stock microphone always sounds good and has a frequency meter. Retired I just listen on 19 and lower 38. Crazy people on skip on channel 6.
