ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE, THOROUGHLY GO OVER THE STATEMENT(S) and see what expenditures are being made. Chances are, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts, and snacks are the biggest expenditures. A lot of that could be cut down with properly planned menus, a refrigerator, and a George Foreman grill in the truck.
Your husband could do a lot of his own cooking inside or outside of the truck. Also, your husband may want to have his own coffee maker to brew his own coffee. Coffee alone can add up to a lot of money.
Also, entertainment can be adding on your statements. If your husband is going to the local movie theaters, chances are, he may be paying $10.00 plus for the tickets PLUS OUTRAGEOUS PRICES for the snacks being sold at the popcorn stands. This is worth noting.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.

I have spent $800 month as well, I've been cutting back to earing dinner only out of the truck, used to be all three meals.
-
I can spend $200 per week if I eat big restaurant wheels & don't manage my money well. Having a refrigerator & a Burton oven cut my expenses a buunch. I used to work with a guy who was on a 5.00 per day budget imposed by his wife. He lived on the dollar menu at whatever fast food location he could find.

Too late..
Once she got those first responses from G3Truks, I'd bet the house that she already paid Guido and Tony "NoNeck" the first half,
and when they bring the photo back they'll get the rest. -

I just couldn't imagine that he would be able to spend that kind of money! I do like your ideas though and I am going to consider every single post.

OK...enough kidding around....if he's eating that truck stop food he'll get real fat and go broke fast! Also it's easy to buy stuff at about a 40% mark-up in truck stops that you could get at any Wal-Mart.
That much money is almost a whole paycheck a month but it's expensive to live on the road.
But now that bra strap thing is another story....LOL..... -
hahahahaha!

Take it easy on him please, nothing like getting yelled at over the phone in a parking lot that smells of urine while the truck next to you makes that noise every 9.6 seconds and the headlights of the truck parked in front of you still has their brights on while sleeping and you get that message from dispatch saying to make sure you get moving right after your 10 cause the shipper needs that empty while all you really want to do is watch that $8.99 DVD from the Pilot that is scratched while you digest that half-way decent meal you purchased from Lonestar. Note: This never happened to me.
Gearjammin' Penguin, luvtotruck and blairandgretchen Thank this.
