A few places to check.... fm2105 runs between 277 & 87 on the north side of town...there are some truck yards there.
Just south of that on the west side of town is Chadbourne St...from the intersection of Chadbourne & 87...go a mile or 2 into town and you'll find a couple more yards.
Then, there is a yard on Arden road, just west of the loop.
After that, take a trip out hwy 67 to Barnhart....you'll see a lot. Barnhart is on the way to Big Lake also if you wanted to check out that area (I never went that far, but I know some on this forum are working down there)
There is some activity south of town on 277 also....down around Christoval.Last edited: Nov 5, 2013

Hey Arky did you leave Sunoco?
-
No... I did transfer up to OK though. So far, I'm loving the change. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going to TX and/or Sunoco. Texas has a LOT of oil and it seems that the San Angelo area is just getting started. I'm a lot closer to family up here so this is a much better option for me...otherwise, TX would probably win out by a small percentage.

Well i spent the night in forest city Arkansas and on my way to Texas now after breakfast.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
I admire you for jumping ship from VA. I spent most of my life in TN and recently bought a house in Nevada, 10 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. New challenges make life interesting.
