I trained at ntts in liverpool ny and we had recruiters from all three he mentioned h.o.w.is mostly north east

 

If you live in an area where you have companies, try that. It is all I have ever done, pull doubles or do city work, I prefer doubles and make good money and be home with your family a lot more. Screw these OTR companies. My motto is, if I am at work I am going to get paid, and that is not the case on the road.

 

I live in blue ridge which is north of Atlanta. Look into Maverick. Its flatbed but the money is amazing and I have never been lied to by anyone from the recruiter to my dispatcher. They pay you 500 a week for training. 33cpm to start and then it jumps to nearly 50cpm after 6 months with your performance pay and everything.

Really good company. I'm a driver for them. Call 800-289-1100 and speak to Jeff Bone. He was my recruiter. It may sound too good to be true but he will not lie to you. I wish I had known about this company sooner. I didn't have a single check starting out that was under 800. That's after I durance and everything. Making a lot more now but you can expect that to start with.
