You have been in a truck for 4 years, you don't know squat. I have work boots that have spent more miles in a truck than you have. Just set back and listen you might learn something.

"fantastic fear of extreme temps"??
when your young,(20 or 30 something), slogging thru the jungle in Southeast Asia, working construction in the winter in Wyoming in Jan.,pouring concrete in southwest Texas in August, isn't too bad.
Now I'm 60 and well..... I've paid my dues and deserve to be as comfortable as I would at home during my down time.

In the mid 70's I drove from Detroit to West Memphis none stop. 90 in Detroit 105 in West Memphis didn't have AC. I spent 2 days in the Motel with heat stroke then went on to
Dallas and back to Detroit. The stories go on and on so I too feel like I have paid my dues. If you have been driving long enough to have driven a B model chain drive Mack like I have you don't owe anybody anything.Numb and HappyHardCore Thank this. -
I know someone who's ac broke when it was 100 degrees outside, so after his deliveries, he slept inside his reefer for his 10 hour break during the day time (drove all night)
