It shouldn't need a Regen (rolling or sitting) that soon between cycles. Every 10 minutes of running the filter calls for a Regen? You've got bigger problems than a Regen fail.....something is going out, like your ECU.

DOC can be face plugged and can be causing incomplete regen

Ive got an 08 830 w/d16. I had those problems before, first check your flex tube. If theirs any cracks in it, replace right away. How to tell is, put your engine in a parked regen, then go over to where the DPF is and make sure there isn't any smoke. Also, when you're driving and it goes into regen, YOU MUST maintain constant steady speed. If you don't, that alone will cause it to try and regen again causing it to display "soot level high". Finally, and this is a big one, NEVER use any additives, injector cleaners, cetane boosters or ANYTHING else, other than ULSD in her and your problems will be greatly reduced. I've been using Volvo engines since 99, I know a thing or two.

    Good luck and God bless,
