Agree with the guys saying if people wouldnt haul um for dirt the brokers would pay more they would have to.
Look at 90% of the stuff coming out of tx to fla now they have killed those rates some guys are hauling them for 2-300 a unit i wouldnt touch it for that

Like Thumper said...you can't throw all the blame on brokers for that matter not much at all. You have to blame the guys that are hauling THOSE broker loads for the cheap rate.

150.00 a car, I won't even break my ramps out for anything under 300 and I don't care if it's going across the #### street!

The liability alone is worth something, not to mention the knowledge and sweat that goes along with it, let that crap sit, some joker in a pickup truck and and a wedge will take it.

I wouldn't even load a car at that price.

But I also understand the broker wanting their money, if the car goes 3000 miles or 3 they still do the same amount of work, and as long as carriers take it at $150 its called supply and demand.

I also dislike rants where the OP is the actual problem.

How am I the problem? I'm here to support myself. Get with the times, this economy is ####. They said the trucking industry is the number one industry jobless people are getting into. You want to sit at home because you arent gonna touch a load, so be it. Let me know how far that gets you in the long run. I've been doing this for 5 years now and if I can drive 2 1/2 hours, load 4 cars, drive back 2 1/2 and make 400 after fuel costs In that period of time and be at the gym working out at 4pm, I am happy. There's people that are in their 40s making 8.00 an hour trying to just get by.

Let's be honest. These brokers just just a load on a website. That #### is not hard work!

Obviously you've never dealt with the brokers side, its not all gravy, BTDT.

If you so happy doing what you are then why this rant??

Listing a car on a website and charging 100.00 and giving a driver 150.00 doesn't equate. But then again pecking at a keyboard is the same as transporting a vehicle with fuel, maintenance and liability costs.

How about the $75,000 bond they have to have, that comes free right? Here's a solution, if you don't like what the broker gets, don't haul for them, they're not the only people in the world with vehicles to move.
