Hello all,
I'm still waiting for my criminal, background, drug etc results to be provided to Schneider. Taking longer then I expected, can't wait to give in my resignation to my current job and start training.
Schneider offers, in their tanker division, 6 days home a month, you can choose the 6 days. Anyone know of any other companies that offer this kind of flexibility?
Most appear to be 2-3 weeks on the road and 2-3 days home.
Thanks in advance![]()
Any other companies offer 6 days home time a month like Schneider?

It's gonna be hard to beat that ! How are you gonna make any money sitting at home watching the world go by ?
Exactly !
You won't find too many trucking companys out there that can make a promise like that one .
But hey keep looking and let us know what you find . I think you would have better luck buying a lottery ticket and hoping to be "the" big winner .
Best wishes Pal
Remember , alot of companys will promise you the world as long as you sign on the dotted line ! Be aware and be smart . -
Thanks for helping me see that I'm a naive fool, I needed that. -

I know CRST offers 5 days home after 3 weeks out, 1.5 days a week earned with a max cap at 6 days. But I am in no way making a reccomendation to apply there, just saying there are companies that do offer that kind of home time. Transport America has a 7/7 and a 14/7 plan also.

Thanks
, I'll do some research on those companies

If you don't mind slipseating. I would think it would be a p.i.t.a to move your stuff in and out of the truck, every other week or two.

Roehl offers a 7/7 fleet and a 7/4 - 7/3 fleet.
-
Watkins and Shepard gives you one day off for every six out...which is a bit better than the norm of 1 day off for every 7 out...at least from what I found during my job searching...
Good luck.. -
If you can get on with Roehl, their (7 on) (4 off) one week, then (7 on) (3 off) the next week program, is for solo drivers with no slip seating. That would and is my pick but have to get hired on with them first!

Next option is flat bedding where you usually get home most every weekend for 34+ hours restart time at least.
That is what I am debating now also.
