I was not sure if I would post this or not but what the hey. One of my grandsons decided to come into trucking. After he did his research on every company, he chose CR England. Was I surprised? No. Hurt by that choice? No.

So he was given a start date and a bus ticket from New Orleans to SaltLake City. He showed up expecting the worst and he got it.

Day one, he along with 64 others sat in a classroom where they were given a lecture, a sit down with some guy my age who was a former DEA Agent who ran through a list of about 100 narcotic drugs and then asked you ever take any of them?

Next he goes for a physical and sees a 100 pound barbell. He asks what that's for, the reply? For girls use only, so we can see if they can are actually strong enough to move a truck shifter. What the hey???

I failed to mention that he was given a log sheet and asked to fill one out and class didn't even start yet. That night, he was in a dorm room with ten other guys and by the time he woke up for day 2, 7 guys were shown the exit door from day one, supposedly they had drug charges, a Murder for hire case arrest warrant, deceptive applications, etc.

Day two, 5 pm my grandson was on the way home, because he was told that every Sunday he must attend the Mormon church services and it's a must.

My grandson is headed here to CRST. I will keep everyone informed as he gets through the program, it should be interesting.

Never heard of the requirement to attend a Mormon Church. That does not sound just right to me, but I am not that familiar with CRE. Wish him good luck, I do. Keep us up-dated. Thanks

P.S. If he is required to attend, what about pay for his time ? How would he log it ?

Your grandson was done a favor by leaving C R England. Years from now he will understand.

Isn't this the guy who says he was with CRST for 30 years? So why didn't you bring your grandson on board there instead of sending him to the worst of the worst? You have some explaining to do young man.
