I'm going to say this again, my grandson is my grandson. You don't know him so stop telling me I should of talked him out if this or that. That's not my deal.
However, I did try and he chose someone else, gave it a shot and it didn't work out for him.

Miles your full of bull. No company can make you attend church. Sounds like your just bashing cr England to make people come to a #### company like crst.
-
So he's going to get his cdl and go to crst? So he's trading a dumb decision for a another one? Why anyone would work for either company is just absurd. Drive 70 hours a week with a team mate that's mandatory to bring home 500 or less a week??? Ya no thanks! Unless I'm making 200 bucks or more a day I'm not rolling out of bed!
-
Whoever wrote I'm a recruiter for CRST, get a life already, I'm not a recruiter but I probably should be
-
TruckerPete:
where do you get I bashed anybody to make someone come here, I wrote what was told to me I wasn't there. If I had my way, he would have never went there in the first place. -
Stop attacking me for my grandsons choice!!! Stop telling me I should have forced him to come here!!! I'm not going to force anyone to come here!!! Patty J, I had to manually go in and change from 44 years to 45, because when I joined I was at CRST for 29 years, then I had my 30 year anniversary, so that changed the number.
i was not at England so I can only go by what I was told, it didn't make sense to me or my son either but I wouldn't be surprised by anything those wahoos do -
AdK dumb decision to go to England, not such a dumb one to come here. Unless you've personally driven here and had a bad experience, your reply is based upon your lack of personal knowledge of this company.

Yup he is a 22 yr old kid, and grandson or not I tell him all the time he needs to grow up, I blame his momma, she shadows him too much.
He lives in New Orleans, there isn't much opportunity. He needs to get out and see the country and experience life. He was working as a shuttle van driver for some hotel making $250.00 a week plus a few dollars a day in cash tips. -
Miles has a point,he wasn't there. No offense miles but maybe your grandson is feeding you a line of bull.It happens in this industry as an excuse your grandson isn't ready for trucking not just yet.I apologize for not believing you.Afterall hes your grandson so of couse his word is law.But I would ask him some questions about what hes saying to you.CRST is his next choice, don't be surprised if he comes home before orientation is over.Sounds like hes not ready to make such a commitment.

Trucker Pete:
Let me put my recruiter hat on. Wait, wait I need to dig it out, oh there it goes. So young man, you want to drive a truck. We start you out making $450.00 a day, we split the miles you get a brand new off the showroom floor Volvo with all the bells and whistles. Your out two weeks and you go home for 2 weeks but we pay you to sit home.
Lol...See I would be a terrible recruiter. Seriously to answer your question, I know what I earn I can't or wouldn't try to guess what others make. To tell you you'll make X dollars a week here would be quoting the perfect world.
