Nope redish buckets with a stick on sign and security seal it had that plastic string all buckets have but they were filled in the spot by an authorized mobil delvac dealer. I paid about $53 each plus tax at tropic oil in miami fl

So these were re-filled buckets? Not sure what you mean by "in the spot".
I just had a pail of Rotella I bought at Walmart had 2 types of particles in the bottom. I'm guessing they were from the machinery at the bottling plant. Looked like paper and the other looked like hard black plastic. Nothing floated so I doubt anything got into my crankcase. Other pail was clean.
Gonna take pics and send to Shell along with any batch numbers that might be on bucket. -
Well its an authorized mobil dealer andbyes they fill them up in the warehouse but I suspect somewhere someone is trying to make the extra buck by selling junk. I dont blame mobil I blame tropic oil from medley fl they are the ones who filled them up.

Just a thought, but instead of those particles being metal, perhaps they are some of the additives oil companies put in oil that didn't dissolve and stir in properly?
