This company has about eighty terminals in the South and Southeast, not to mention one is literally five minutes from my house and their website is super slick, however there is literally no information for/about drivers or even job openings on it.

Does anyone work for AAA Cooper Transporation, or have any information on them at all?

    Thanks!

I was on there site last night and there is a link to jobs I think in the upper right hand side of the home page.
I also called a terminal near my house and they said you have to go in to apply.
    Hope this helps

Interesting, first company I've heard of except for smaller ones where you can't apply online. Thanks.

Anyone work for them currently give us some info?

Went to the terminal today. Filled out the application and interviewed with the manager, took some type of personality test. I go Thursday for some kind of strenght test.
    We'll see how it goes.

They are the in house carrier for the Wm. Bonnell corporation, among other things. They took over for Averitt last summer. Most of the drivers who run for Bonnell are former Averitt drivers, and they got a raise when Cooper took over. I haven't heard any complaints.

Lonesome, are sure your not talking about another Cooper? I ask only because Averitt and AAA Cooper have no ties to each other. At least that's the way it is here in Atlanta. I have a couple of friends that drive for Averitt and they said they have nothing to do with AAA Cooper.

Averitt USED to be the carrier for Bonnell. Cooper took over from Averitt last summer. Cooper now pulls the trailers for Bonnell.

AAA Cooper hauls freight that by itself does not make a full truck load (similiar to UPS). They gather up what they can going from one place to another and load it together, then ship it "Line Haul" to that location, separate it and deliver it. They pay pretty good and once you get on full time its great, however to begin with you hire on "Part Time On Call" and they call you when they need you (and expect you to come running when they do). That did not work well for me. Between that and a 2 year waiting list in Dothan AL for a full time position meant I did not stay long, however if you get on full time you have a set schedule and it is great. I have a relative that gets up and drives from Dothan to Moblie and back Sunday thru Friday. He is home every night, and off Fri night thru sunday at abt noon.

To apply I had to print up a resume and take it to the office and meet with the manager there, (It helped to have a relative working there)
