They might not call you. The onus will likely be on you to contact them. I would not be waiting for them to call me back. I would be continuing to call and leave messages. Did the county website say what time the court house is open?

It said 830-1600 M-F. The recorded message that starts when they don't answer says the same thing, but there is no voicemail system. As soon as the recorded message finishes it hangs up on me.

yep. I would rather pay 2000 bucks to pay an attorney than pay these fly by night cdl defender companies, which i actually did and im glad because i made #### well sure this ticket is reduced or dismissed either outcome i dont care.

It doesn't make sense why so many carriers would endorse CDL Defender/US Legal Services since they are apparently such a shady and unreliable company. The company I drive for now does, the company I drove for before this one did. I still like the idea of having an attorney service on my side in case I get any future tickets, even though this particular one obviously isn't worth the weekly payment I make. Is there a different, more reliable legal service provider that you guys would recommend instead?

    Call 313-658-2272
    No answer Call 315-658-9950

You can try an email to the woman: melmer@nycourts.gov

You can send a return receipt letter

    Town of Orleans Justice Court
    20558 Sunrise Ave.
    PO Box 206
    LaFargeville, NY 13656

Why did you have to go back 20 miles to your truck to get the ticket? How would you even discuss with the clerk your situation without the ticket number?

I figured they could look it up by my name. I didn't think about it when I got out of the truck and went home, I didnt know this was an issue til i collected my mail and found my money order returned.

I'm waiting for a call back from US Legal, I got the boss on the phone and yelled at him until he agreed to help me fix this.

Well your boss is gonna love the $11, 000 he is going to get for your phone use. Good luck on finding any cdl job after this.

The whole point of hiring an attorney was to prevent that. When I said I got "the boss" on the phone I was referring to a boss at US Legal, not my boss.

    Thanks, I'll check them out.

Sincere thanks to everyone else that has helped me with this too. Hopefully I can get it cleaned up.
