Seems about right - I kinda lucked out with grabbing that $1675 run for the weekend which bumps things up significantly. Taking the loads from the previous 5 days and averaging them out comes to $634 per day. Take that down to 600 and multiply it by 7 and that comes to a little over 4000/week which I think is doable based on what I am currently seeing and the area I am running. But its also a good time of the year for freight right now, when it dries up a bit I'll probably try to focus more on running shorter loads that don't burn as much fuel. Like I said, if I can bring home a consistent $800/week while I am still making this truck payment I am happy, but I know I can do better than that when I am running hard... and that I plan to do until this truck is paid off!

Thanks!! I am very happy with Schneiders program so far and am having a lot of fun too.

I think I have it down, correct me if I'm wrong: The load I delivered this Monday (my first day out) will be on today's (Friday) paycheck. The loads from Tuesday onwards will be on NEXT Friday's paycheck, correct? I looked on Crossroads and the load I delivered on Monday along with the money they paid me to deadhead from GB to Detroit are on there.

Is there a way I can look at my completed shipments that aren't showing up on the pay statement yet?

    Thanks!

Oh believe me I know that's coming LOL. Next week I'll get with my rep from ATBS (the tax service SFI provides for the first 6 months) and do some talking with them and get started with that side of things.

Main thing to worry about tax wise is to make your quarterly FICA tax payments (15.3%) and any estimated income tax payments

Anything you have completed should show up below the actual pay in the pending area.

Always set aside money for quarterly taxes. Some new O/O-L/P guys see those big settlement checks and don't bother setting aside money for taxes. When they get a tax bill at the end of the year for 10K+ there shocked for some reason. Good luck.
