The ad said: I need to find a driver for it, hopefully with-in 50 miles of McMinnville, TN.
Usually when someone says that, they want the truck at their home/terminal during home time. Not always....but it would be my first question if I didn't live within 50 miles.
Any way; it is difficult to fight HireRight, but not impossible. Read my success story, and note time-line: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...on-about-everything/156174-hireright-dac.html
HireRight works on the same lines as filing a grievance between company and Union---there is a time constraint on both sides as far as replying to the opposition on every move...make sure you make YOUR time lines, and hope the company doesn't make theirs....because the "tie goes to the runner", that's you.
And, if what the company is saying about you is true...and they can prove it...you will NOT get it removed.
My question would be: Do you have a copy of the accident report? It is always a good idea to keep one, and present it to the perspective employer so you can discuss it, and explain the situation---if it is truly an "accident", stuff happens and most people understand that; but a report speaks volumes.

What, exactly, are the three things?
-
#1 A rock was on the interstate that I hit...it messed up the trailer tire
#2 A pickup truck with trailer passed me in a curve and hit my trailer. That case got dismissed
#3 framed for damaging a dockdoor... Got the pics to prove I was innocent, but that didn't save me from keeping my job -
Thanks.
It sounds like you have had some bad luck, as well as being screwed over. -
Exactly... and it's just wrong... I'm a safe driver, and mostly stayed out for 6-8 weeks before requesting a 2-day weekend...it's just wrong how your career can be over with just some BS on your DAC.... I hope I can find at least one company who wants to give me a chance, because I love driving and it's killing me sitting just here without being on a truck...

local comps dont look at DAC for the most part i hear.

Thats what Ive heard but never been able to find one

Sounds like a normal week for me. My truck is too long, my windows are too dark, Got here too soon. You want it, I got it. You need it, I can haul that too. I like being old, makes me enjoy taking candy from a baby sweeter.
